Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded entirely live without headphones or separation baffling, the acclaimed songwriter and violinist captures a wonderfully warm, classic studio sound. The album tackles the polarized political climate and historical cycles of fascism through Bird's signature erudite lyricism, whistling melodies, and lush, jazz-inflected chamber-folk arrangements.
