Transitioning away from the swing-revivalism of his earlier Bowl of Fire ensemble, the multi-instrumentalist established his signature solo sound. The project heavily utilizes loop pedals to layer virtuosic whistling, intricate violin plucking, and dense vocal harmonies into lush, pastoral folk-pop.
