Album Notes & Community Reviews
The idiosyncratic pianist leads a quartet through a series of dense, harmonically complex compositions that blur the line between post-bop and the avant-garde. Characterized by angular, deeply intellectual improvisations, the album highlights his uncompromising vision during a period dominated by electric jazz-fusion.
