Album Notes & Community Reviews
Hill employs two bassists鈥擱ichard Davis and Eddie Khan鈥攖o create a shifting, contrapuntal foundation for this piano-led session. The absence of horns leaves ample room for intricate rhythmic interplay, pushing his angular, cerebral compositions toward the edges of the avant-garde.
