The Swedish ensemble forcefully escalated the King Crimson-inspired complexity of their debut, delivering a significantly darker, wildly dissonant progressive rock masterpiece. The incredibly dense arrangements rely heavily on sweeping, melancholic mellotron layers colliding with abrasive, heavily distorted guitar and bass interplay. The remarkably aggressive, gloomy atmosphere firmly positioned them at the bleeding edge of the 1990s Scandinavian progressive revival.
