Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the gritty, working-class environments of North East England, 'Teenage Warning' is a seminal document of the burgeoning Oi! punk subgenre. The record strips away the art-school pretensions of early punk, delivering raw, violently energetic anthems focused on police brutality, unemployment, and youth disenfranchisement. Its uncompromising sincerity and aggressive street-level politics secured the band a devoted, albeit controversial, cult following.
