Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originating from the Kansai underground music scene, the all-female quartet Angel'in Heavy Syrup delivers an expansive, deeply atmospheric third album. The recording effortlessly bridges the gap between hazy dream pop melodicism and sprawling, acid-tinged progressive rock instrumentals. It stands as a pinnacle of 90s Japanese neo-psychedelia, heavily praised for its ethereal vocal harmonies layered over dense, krautrock-inspired rhythms.
