Album Notes & Community Reviews
Accompanying an expansive multimedia project that included a short film and comic book, 'The Dream Walker' represents a significant stylistic shift for Tom DeLonge's space-rock venture. With Ilan Rubin joining as a primary collaborator, the record strips back the band's typical U2-style delays in favor of darker, more electronic and post-punk inspired alternative rock. The concise, synth-heavy approach offered a refreshing reinvention for the group.
