Album Notes & Community Reviews

Structured as a split release that functions organically as a full collaboration, this record showcases Michael Gira acting as both producer and primary songwriter for the Angels of Light half. Akron/Family, serving as Gira's backing band on his tracks, contribute their own set of eclectic, chaotic freak-folk compositions, resulting in a cohesive yet unhinged avant-garde project.
