Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the vibrant Texas extreme metal underground alongside acts like Rigor Mortis, this brutally heavy debut pushed crossover thrash to its technical limits. Angkor Wat heavily incorporates complex time signatures, death metal vocals, and an intensely dark, suffocating atmosphere heavily inspired by the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge. It is an incredibly dense, punishingly fast artifact of the late 80s extreme scene.
