Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Brazilian quintet executed a brilliant, sweeping concept album regarding the 16th-century discovery of their homeland. Andre Matos's soaring vocals lead a highly sophisticated fusion of European melodic power metal rhythms with indigenous Brazilian percussion and orchestral classical arrangements. This intricate cross-cultural integration established them as a truly distinct, globally recognized force within the progressive metal scene.
