Album Notes & Community Reviews

With the addition of drummer Matt Garstka, Tosin Abasi's instrumental project injects a significant dose of organic, jazz-fusion groove into their hyper-technical djent foundation. Co-produced heavily by Periphery's Misha Mansoor, the incredibly dense eight-string guitar riffing is frequently broken up by beautiful, slap-bass interludes and complex electronic programming. It remains one of the most celebrated and dynamically diverse albums in modern progressive metal.
