Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Kurt Ballou, 'Animal' is a masterclass in technical deathcore that favors old-school death metal proficiency over the genre's typical breakdown formula. The album features blistering speed and intricate, groovy riffing that set the San Francisco band apart from their contemporaries. Its politically charged lyrics and raw, punchy production helped it become a cult classic among fans of more technical extreme metal.
