Album Notes & Community Reviews

Propelled to international superstardom by the iconic, synth-driven smash 'Ring My Bell', Anita Ward's debut is a definitive pillar of the disco era. Beyond its legendary lead single, 'Songs of Love' reveals a deeply talented vocalist navigating lush, mid-tempo soul and R&B ballads. The album perfectly captures the soaring, heavily orchestrated euphoria of late-seventies dance music.
