Album Notes & Community Reviews
A chaotic, explosive milestone in Japanese alternative music, 'Nanban torai' merges frantic funk rhythms, Afrobeat grooves, and visceral punk aggression. Led by the notoriously unpredictable frontman Edo Akemi, the record captures the band's intense, cathartic live energy and their biting critiques of Japanese societal norms.
