Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Iconoclasts', Anna von Hausswolff shifts from minimalist drone towards a maximalist and melodic art-rock composition, blending her signature pipe organ with avant-garde saxophone and symphonic layers to create dense, cinematic soundscapes. Produced with Filip Leyman, the album's unconventional song structures address themes of freedom and autonomy, featuring collaborations with Iggy Pop and a pop-leaning ballad with Ethel Cain that anchor the work's experimental ambitions.
