Album Notes & Community Reviews

Annbj酶rg Lien's 'Felefeber' presents fourteen pieces for Hardanger fiddle mixing her own compositions with solemn traditional hymns and folk tunes. Its centrepiece, 'Knepphallingen (The Plucked Halling)', strings together over a dozen melodies in succession as a tribute to a virtuoso fiddler renowned for technically demanding tunes. The album was the first Lien released after her attention-getting appearance on Henry Kaiser and David Lindley's Norwegian music project 'Sweet Sunny North'.
