Album Notes & Community Reviews

The improvisational duo consisting of trumpeter Jaimie Branch and drummer Jason Nazary enlisted Tortoise's Jeff Parker to produce this deeply surreal blend of free jazz and electronic processing. The record's release gained an incredibly profound, tragic weight when Branch passed away unexpectedly merely two months after its publication, standing as a final testament to her boundary-pushing talent.
