Album Notes & Community Reviews

The pianist and composer beautifully erases the lines between modern classical music and avant-garde jazz improvisation on this acoustic release. Featuring violinist Leroy Jenkins, 'Of Blues and Dreams' presents highly structured, complex third-stream compositions that rely heavily on deep, cerebral chamber jazz dynamics.
