Album Notes & Community Reviews
After years navigating industry setbacks, the North Carolina native finally breaks through with an earthy, profoundly authentic collection of neo-soul. His gritty, gospel-inflected vocals cut through warm, organic production, detailing narratives of blue-collar struggles and deeply felt romance. The record successfully bridged the gap between classic 1970s Southern soul traditions and contemporary R&B sensibilities.
