Album Notes & Community Reviews
Years after departing Genesis, founding guitarist Anthony Phillips released his long-gestating, beautifully delicate solo debut. Primarily acoustic and wonderfully lush, 'The Geese & the Ghost' is a profoundly calm, deeply melodic masterpiece of progressive folk, evoking a remarkably pastoral, gently medieval atmosphere laced with warm, nostalgic loneliness.
