Album Notes & Community Reviews

With the introduction of vocalist Joey Belladonna, Anthrax significantly elevated their aggressive thrash sound with soaring, highly melodic heavy metal vocals. 'Spreading the Disease' is an incredibly energetic, riff-driven onslaught that balances blistering speed metal with massive, stadium-ready hooks. The album successfully established their distinct, anthemic identity within the legendary Big Four of thrash metal.
