Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the abrupt departure of lead guitarist Dan Spitz, the New York thrash pioneers fully committed to a muscular, heavily down-tuned groove metal sound. John Bush's powerful, remarkably gritty vocal delivery drives the incredibly rhythmic, aggressive riffing, moving completely away from their 1980s speed-metal origins. The record notably features explosive guest guitar solos from Pantera's Dimebag Darrell, solidifying its firmly modern, heavy alternative approach.
