Pianist Antonio Adolfo devotes 'Chiquinha com Jazz' entirely to the music of Chiquinha Gonzaga, arranging pieces including 'Atraente', 'Lua Branca' and '脫 Abre Alas' for a quartet with Gabriel Vivas on double bass, Ivan Conti on drums and Claudio Spiewak on acoustic guitar. Adolfo's piano and arrangements carry Gonzaga's salon repertoire into a jazz setting without losing its dance rhythms. The album won the Pr锚mio Sharp.
