Composed for a highly ambitious theatrical adaptation transposing the Greek myth of Orpheus to a Rio de Janeiro favela, this project marks the inaugural, historic collaboration between the poet and composer. The sweeping, heavily orchestrated music blends sophisticated classical arranging with deep, Afro-Brazilian percussion elements, laying the direct harmonic groundwork for the impending bossa nova revolution. The recording introduced several immortal compositions, including the legendary 'Se Todos Fossem Iguais a Voc锚'.
