Album Notes & Community Reviews
Featuring punishingly fast tempos and the virtuosic guitar work of Lips Kudlow, 'Metal on Metal' is widely acknowledged as an essential precursor to the thrash metal explosion. The relentless aggression and heavy riffing heavily influenced the forthcoming 'Big Four' of thrash, despite Anvil struggling to maintain mainstream momentum in subsequent years.
