Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following significant lineup changes and a shift away from their dense, brass-heavy Chicago rock origins, the band delivered a somewhat disjointed sophomore effort. The recordings lean notably toward a more conventional, roots-inflected rock and roll sound, shedding much of the complex psychedelia that had defined their highly ambitious debut. The group quietly disbanded shortly after the album failed to make commercial waves.
