The Finnish classical ensemble debuted with an unprecedented, highly novel concept: performing heavy metal classics entirely on classical cellos. The quartet translates the ferocious thrash metal riffs and complex solos of the iconic American band into sweeping, darkly symphonic arrangements. The project was incredibly successful, essentially birthing the niche subgenre of neoclassical cello metal.
