Album Notes & Community Reviews

The North Carolina quartet sharpened their jagged, aggressively dissonant guitar attack on their highly anticipated sophomore release. Eric Bachmann's incredibly strained, passionate vocals deliver fiercely cynical, satirical observations regarding the mainstream co-opting of underground alternative culture. The incredibly tight, frenetic indie-rock energy solidified their reputation as uncompromising stalwarts of the American underground.
