Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in Paris with a formidable ensemble including Lester Bowie and Clifford Thornton, the legendary tenor saxophonist continued his profound exploration of collective free improvisation. The sprawling title track navigates chaotic, explosive dissonance before resolving into deeply spiritual, blues-inflected motifs. The release effectively captures the raw, politically charged energy of the expatriate American avant-garde in Europe.
