Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Ruin' stands as the second full-length album by British metalcore outfit Architects, noted for introducing vocalist Sam Carter to the band's lineup. The recording exhibits a highly technical and dissonant approach to modern metal, heavily informed by mathcore complexities and aggressive tempo shifts. It played a crucial role in elevating the band's profile within the UK heavy music scene, setting a stylistic benchmark for their subsequent work.
