Album Notes & Community Reviews

This sprawling, deeply eccentric collaboration unites the godfather of lo-fi home recording with his most famous and successful disciple. The album is an overwhelmingly chaotic assembly of mangled tape loops, bizarre spoken-word interludes, and fragmented pop melodies, deliberately engineered to sound as messy and degraded as possible. It functions as an inside joke and a polarizing, fascinatingly disjointed summit of two outsider-music icons.
