Mercy

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their second full-length collaboration, 'Mercy', Armand Hammer and producer The Alchemist offer a work of taut, atmospheric hip-hop. The Alchemist provides a sonic canvas of sparse drums, unsettling loops, and hazy textures, prioritizing mood and creating ample space for the intricate lyricism of rappers billy woods and ELUCID. The duo delivers dense, abstract verses that explore themes of power, survival, and injustice with their signature elliptical and metaphor-heavy approach.
