Album Notes & Community Reviews

Adhering to the popular 'blowing session' format, this record pits three distinct brass stylists against one another over a propulsive rhythm section. The contrast between Farmer's lyrical restraint, Byrd's polished mechanics, and Sulieman's fiery aggression creates a highly engaging comparative study in hard bop phrasing.
