Album Notes & Community Reviews

Polly Mackey, operating as Art School Girlfriend, expands her electronic dream pop with the inclusion of propulsive breakbeats on her sophomore album. 'Soft Landing' pairs her hushed, breathy vocals with nocturnal, atmospheric synth lines and subtle drum and bass rhythms. The record serves as a moody, highly textured exploration of romantic transition and emotional resilience.
