Album Notes & Community Reviews

Riding the momentum of his massive hit 'Sweet Soul Music', Arthur Conley's sophomore effort serves as a highly energetic tribute to his rhythm and blues predecessors. Mentored heavily by Otis Redding, Conley applies his remarkably smooth yet powerful vocal style to a collection of early rock and roll standards and deep soul grooves. The production brilliantly encapsulates the infectious, horn-driven joy of 1960s Southern soul.
