Album Notes & Community Reviews

Highlighting legendary interpretations under the baton of Herbert von Karajan, this release presents Honegger's tumultuous mid-century symphonies with profound gravitas. The performance masterfully navigates the anguished dissonance and ultimate, hard-won serenity inherent in the Swiss-French composer's reaction to global conflict.
