Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Silencio' gathers string orchestra works by three composers around Arvo P盲rt, whose 'Tabula Rasa' and 'Darf ich...' frame contributions from Philip Glass ('Company') and Vladimir Martynov ('Come in!'). Gidon Kremer and Tatjana Grindenko are the violin soloists with Kremerata Baltica under conductor Eri Klas, in performances of sustained, holy minimalist stillness.
