Album Notes & Community Reviews

Composed in homage to Anish Kapoor's monumental sculpture 'Marsyas', this massive work for piano and orchestra marks a dramatic departure for the Estonian minimalist composer. The recording abandons his trademark serene tintinnabuli style in favor of jarring dynamic shifts, brutal brass dissonance, and an overwhelmingly sombre, apocalyptic tone.
