Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Ulster Orchestra under Takuo Yuasa, with violinists Lesley Hatfield and Rebecca Hirsch, performs three Pärt works spanning his career: the serial-era 'Collage über B-A-C-H', the chant-based Symphony No. 3 and the tintinnabuli double concerto 'Tabula Rasa'. The Naxos program traces his path from Soviet avant-garde technique to holy minimalism.
