Album Notes & Community Reviews
Addressing profound spiritual doubt and familial turmoil, 'Son, I Loved You at Your Darkest' stands as an intensely sentimental post-hardcore milestone. The album skillfully incorporates atmospheric post-rock elements to temper its aggressive, passionate outbursts. Its deeply introspective exploration of Christian faith resonated profoundly within the mid-2000s alternative scene.
