Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Hostile Architecture' is an avant-garde metal album that confronts late-stage capitalism through a fusion of post-black metal, jazz, and progressive rock. The compositions feature dissonant guitars and blast beats alongside saxophone, violin, and hammered dulcimer, creating a tense and chaotic soundscape. Lyrically, the album explores themes of urban oppression and class struggle, delivered through a theatrical, half-spoken and half-screamed vocal performance that enhances the music's raw and confrontational nature.
