Album Notes & Community Reviews
Written in the aftermath of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, 'Landmark' finds the Japanese alternative rock titans reflecting deeply on national tragedy and recovery. The album tempers their signature frenetic power-pop energy with more somber, atmospheric arrangements and Masafumi Gotoh's profoundly earnest, socially conscious lyricism.
