Asphyx's debut full-length, 'The Rack', is a ferociously heavy and deeply agonizing monument of European death doom metal. The Dutch trio blends Martin van Drunen's tortured, harsh vocals with impossibly slow, aggressive doom riffs, forging a dark, raw, and incredibly somber atmosphere.
