Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pivoting to a nonet configuration, the revolutionary Argentine bandone贸n master significantly expanded the structural and harmonic possibilities of traditional tango. By incorporating rich chamber strings and sophisticated jazz harmonies, this crucial first volume brilliantly recontextualized the music of Buenos Aires as complex, deeply evocative modern art music.
