Album Notes & Community Reviews
The second release from the German ensemble fronted by the powerful, Janis Joplin-esque vocalist Inga Rumpf sees the group leaning further into a tightly arranged, funk-inflected progressive rock sound. Driven by Jean-Jacques Kravetz's dominant Hammond organ work and gritty, blues-rock guitar interplay, the recording largely bypasses standard Krautrock repetition for a deeply soulful, muscular aesthetic. It solidified their reputation as one of the premier live acts in 1970s Germany.
