Album Notes & Community Reviews

A tour-only disc sold by the group itself, 'Sad Clown Bad Dub II' presents boom bap in deliberately unpolished form, its dozen tracks raw four-track demos with no mixing or mastering, a handwritten tracklist and liner notes. First issued in an edition of 500 copies, the Sad Clown series having begun the year before as tour cassettes and CD-Rs, its sampling and lo-fi rhythms carry personal, storytelling writing.
