Album Notes & Community Reviews

Bolstered by Ant's warm, dusty production, this record highlights Slug's increasingly confessional, storytelling-focused lyricism. The duo tackles subjects ranging from alcohol abuse and messy relationships to the harsh realities of independent touring. The release significantly raised the profile of the Minneapolis hip-hop scene and solidified the Rhymesayers label as an underground powerhouse.
