Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran Minneapolis hip-hop duo continues their remarkable maturation, delivering an incredibly thoughtful, deeply introspective eighth studio album. 'Southsiders' features Ant's notably stripped-back, remarkably soulful boom-bap production, perfectly complementing Slug's highly personal, incredibly articulate lyricism regarding mortality and fatherhood. It serves as a wonderfully cohesive, emotionally resonant, and profoundly conscious modern rap record.
