Album Notes & Community Reviews

With keyboardist Vincent Crane as the sole remaining original member, the band recruited vocalist Chris Farlowe and shifted away from their gothic progressive roots. The resulting album is a heavily groove-oriented, funk-inflected hard rock record, dominated by Farlowe's massive, soulful delivery and Crane's biting Hammond organ. The inclusion of strings on several tracks adds a distinct orchestral sweep to their newly revitalized, soulful sound.
